LD2000
Lasershow Designer 2000 is by far the world's best-selling and most-used system for creating and displaying laser shows. It is simple enough that first-time users can play shows "out of the box" within minutes. Yet, it has an incredible amount of depth -- just about anything you want to do with laser graphics and beams, you can do with LD 2000. Plus, while playing the laser show, the LD2000 software suite can also control other types of media, such as audio, video, DMX-controlled moving lights and pyro. For a full listing of the differences between
LD2000 Pro, LD2000 Basic and LD2000
Intro, see the table
comparing the three versions.
A Lasershow Designer 2000 system includes...

- LD2000 drawing and graphics program
- Showtime timeline-based show creation& playback program
- Autoplay simple, automatic show playback program, with included scrolling text capability

QM2000 hardware board: This goes in a slot in a desktop computer, or in a QM2000.NET box on your laptop's network. The QM2000 board does all of the crucial calculations, and it holds all of the laser frames and show content.
LD2000 Professional
The ultimate laser show software. Six-channel analog PCAOM color for 1
trillion hues. 3D database objects which can rotate in 3D perspective. 32 tracks. Create
shows for up to 30 separate projectors (by adding up to 29 additional
QM2000 boards). Includes Abstract

illustrated installation manual and Tutorial DVD are also included.
LD2000 Basic
Similar to LD2000 Pro but with 2D (flat) objects which can rotate in 3D

theme parks, etc. to run shows created by others and to do basic creation. Also useful for
custom applications and turnkey products, where LD2000 is an embedded device for playback
control. LD2000 Intro also includes

512MB
Memory
Currently-shipping versions of LD2000
come standard with 256MB of memory. Shows that make heavy use of raster frames
or computer graphic animations may require more memory.
256MB is good for most users creating
typical laser shows. If your whole show is done with
Raster frames, 3D Studio MAX, Macromedia FLASH or Cinema 4D, you
might require 512MB or more. (Note: To use 512MB,
your board needs to be manufactured after December 20, 2002, or
it will need to be updated by Pangolin to handle
the larger memory).
