ETG FIRES UP COWBOYS STADIUM

DALLAS, TEXAS (August 24, 2009) - August 21, 2009 was the dawn of a new era for the Dallas Cowboys as the team took the field for the first game in their brand new stadium. To celebrate this historic event, a spectacular effects package was desired to introduce the players and fans to their new home. The Cowboys turned to Excitement Technologies Group (ETG) to provide a wide range of special effects for the momentous occasion in history. ETG's team of experts worked around the clock on short notice to realize the vision of the team's owners.

The Cowboys' tunnel walk was taken to new heights as the players made their way though a field of low fog, lit with specially designed LED's in the team's colors. Additional moving light fixtures added extra impact to the entrance. Players taking the field were announced with plumes of CO2 from ETG's Ogre III jets and 30 foot tall bursts of flame created by FireFly projectors. The projectors were placed in specially designed Dallas Cowboy Star props to add extra visual excitement to the opening.
